I'm an occasional Domino admin. It's been a long while since I've had to remove a Domino server from the environment and it's that time again. I'm interested in a soup to nuts document(s) on simply decommissioning a Domino server. I know about the "Decommission Server Analysis" tool and the "Delete server name in Domino Directory" articles in the admin help, but neither really go through a comprehensive decommission process. I ran the Decommission tool. It worked. So what? It didn't tell me anything that I didn't know. I'm not migrating anything from this server. I just need it gone. What needs to be done in advance of simply pulling the plug on it? Should I delete replication and connection documents to\from it? etc. etc. And why the scarce documentation on this seemingly straight forward requirement? Any info. is much appreciated. Thanks.
